What we collect

When you sign up to be the first to hear: your email address, the page language, your country (worked out from your IP address; we don't store the IP address itself) and where you came from (for example a link in a newsletter or an ad). If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.

Why, and on what legal basis

We tell you about our launch and occasionally ask for your opinion. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 31 Swiss FADP). You confirm it by clicking a link in an email (double opt-in) and can withdraw it at any time, via the unsubscribe link in every email or by emailing us.

Service providers

Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France) stores the list and sends our emails. Data is processed in the EU.
Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc., USA) runs the website. Visiting it processes technically necessary data such as your IP address. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Fonts are loaded from our own website, not from Google.

Flavour statistics

We count which flavours are viewed and picked on the page, so we make products people like. Per click we store only: time, type of click, flavour, page language, country (from the IP address; the IP address itself is not stored) and where you came from. No cookies, nothing stored in your browser for this, no ID: a click can't be linked to you. Stored at Cloudflare. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving our offer (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Deleted after 12 months.

Meta Pixel

Only if you agree in the cookie notice do we load the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland). It sets cookies and tells Meta that you visited our site, the page address, whether you signed up (without your email address), your IP address and browser data. This shows us which Facebook and Instagram ads work, and lets Meta show our ads to suitable people. If you're logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta can link this to your account. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). We and Meta are jointly responsible for collecting and sending the data (Art. 26 GDPR; facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum); what Meta does afterwards is in Meta's privacy policy. Data may be transferred to the USA (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Withdraw any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or we close the list. Then we delete your data.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and withdrawing your consent. You can complain to a data protection authority, for example in your country of residence or the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/EDÖB) in Switzerland.
